flux. Information Technology has changed
virtually every facet of our lives. The ever
evolving business environment affects each and
every one of us. In order to keep pace with
these unrelenting changes, we must continue to
acquire the skills and knowledge required to
embrace the innovations engulfing the global
economy.
As a developing nation, it is
imperative that we acquire professional
management, technical knowledge and research
skills to be able to complete in today’s global
arena. We must expand our intellectual horizons
so that our country can become as equal
participant in the global village of the 21st
century.

Dear Students
I
welcome you all to the University of East.
The University of EAST (Engineering, Arts,
Science and Technology) was established at
Hyderabad Sindh under the Act 1999 passed by the
Sindh legislature Assembly and was assented to
by the Governor of Sindh vide Sindh Act No: XI
of 2004. As such it is chartered University in
private sector, recognized by Higher Education
Commission Islamabad. The degrees, diplomas,
certificates and other credentials granted by
the University of East are acceptable all over
Pakistan for the purpose of Jobs, employment as
well as pursuing higher studies in any
institutions of higher learning.
Within a short span of over six years, the
University of East is now offering undergraduate
graduate and post graduate academic programs in
the fields of Business Education, Science and
Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities,
Education etc. These programs are run and
classes are conducted by well experienced and
highly qualified faculty. The university is well
equipped in terms of library, computer labs, and
other facilities including fully air conditioned
class
rooms.
The ultimate goal of the University of East is
to make it a world class institution of higher
learning. It aims at producing people of high
caliber and intellectual worth capable enough to
meet the new realties of life and challenges of
21st century.
