Admission to University of
East is on a highly competitive basis. The students selected
are those who have competed successfully in their academic
careers, showing excellent results. They come from a variety
of backgrounds. Joining University of East, the students
continue to pursue a high level of competitiveness and
professional development.
The admission criteria for the University's academic
programs are described below.
Admission Eligibility for Entrance into the Programs are
based on any one of the following:
1. A Higher Secondary School (HSC) Certificate with
at least 50% marks awarded by a recognized Provincial
Intermediate Board.
2. ‘A' Levels with a minimum of two Cs, in business
related subjects, excluding General Paper or an American
High School Diploma (with acceptable grades) .
3. Recognized overseas equivalence Diploma
Plus success in Aptitude Test and Interview conducted by
University of East.
Admission Eligibility for
Entrance into the MBA Program is based on any one of the
following:
1.
A Bachelors degree in Arts,
Science, Law, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or Pharmacy,
with at least 50% marks from HEC/Provincial Government
recognized and Institute's approved University in Pakistan.
2. A final qualification examination of a
professional body recognized by the University, for example,
ACMA, ACA
3. Recognized overseas degree.
Plus success in Aptitude Test and Interview conducted by
University of East.
Admission Eligibility for
Entrance into the MS Program is based on any one of the
following:
1. A Bachelors degree in Business Administration,
Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering or Arts,
with at least 50% marks from HEC/Provincial Government
recognized and Institute's approved University in Pakistan
2. Recognized overseas degree
Plus success in aptitude test and interview conducted by
University of East
Admission Eligibility for
M Phil Program is based on the following:
1. MBA degree from HEC/Provincial Government
recognized and Institute's approved or reputable foreign
university
2. Plus significant relevant professional experience.
3. Masters degree in a related subject.
Admission Procedure
Application on
prescribed forms along with two letters of recommendation,
attested copies of educational certificates, copy of
National Identity Card (or copy of Passport in case of
foreign national) and three recent passport size
photographs.
An assessment fee of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) is required
to be deposited along with the application form in cash or
in the form of bank draft.
At the time of submission of applications, applicants will
be notified for the date and time of written test /
Interview.
At the time of admission, selected candidates will be
required to deposit admission fee, course fee (depending
upon the number of courses) for the plan chosen and security
deposit. Registration fee will be deposited by student's
every Semester before final exams , according to the
official notification on the notice board.
The students claming exemption from any course or courses,
will be required to pay Exemption Fee at the rate of
Rs.2,500/- per course for bachelor and masters programs in
the beginning of the Semester.
Fees once deposited are not refundable, except security
deposit ,for any reason what so ever. All fees are subject
to change any time at the discretion of the University.
If a student fails to submit
dues in three months, his/her admission will be cancelled.
